My Current Go-To Makeup Look

DSC01250DSC01254

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It’s finally sunny again…for now. We have had rain the whole week this week and I’m tired of it. I want to go to the pool and work on my tan. Haha! Anyway, now that summer is upon us, the weather is getting really hot and humid. Whenever I wear makeup, I noticed that my makeup will start to melt off, eyeliner smudges making me look like a raccoon even before the day ends and I like my makeup to stay intact on my face and continue to stay that way till I take my makeup off. So, I’ve been playing and testing out new makeup for about a month and I really love the end result and also how I’ve been doing my makeup lately. I think it is perfect for the summer time. Sweat proof and makes your skin looking matte through out the day. Although it may be a lot of products for some, it could take me from day to night with minimal touch ups. These are the exact same techniques and and products I used when I do photo shoots for my fashion posts.

I’ve been going really light on the eyes too. A daytime smokey eye where it doesn’t look to heavy during the day time but still perfect to wear out for date nights. To achieve this look, I’ve been using my tried and true 28 neutral color palette from Coastal Scents. This is my first palette that I’ve ever own when I was first starting with makeup. It’s pretty cheap and the pigmentation is really good for the price. I’d say this is a good palette for someone who is just starting with makeup. I probably will switch up other products for my eye looks but mostly the face products are the same and are my main focus. It all starts with achieving a flawless skin as a good base then everything else will fall in place perfectly. I will list down all the products I used and feel free to recreate the look. Have a good one guys and thanks for reading!XOXO

    1. Awww thank you! Well, i usually wld just use the light booster for highligting. So, I wld do this when I apply my under eye concealer. I apply the mac highligter on the tops of my cheekbones, chin, and cupids bow and blend it all in with the concealer. I notice tht it will give a natural glow to the face and I like it. You shld give it a try and see if you like it 🙂 😊
