June Beauty Favorites

Hi guys!

It’s that time of the month again (not that kind), where I share with you some of my beauty favorites and other stuffs that I’ve been loving in the month of June. I can’t believe that June is already over. We made it to half of the year already and it seems like to me, those past months just flew by so quickly. Don’t you think so?

This month, I do not have a lot of favorites because I have not been buying any new makeup or beauty products for quite awhile now. I told myself that I need to start using more of the stuffs that I already have, before purchasing more. I always think that it is so much fun and exciting to go through my stash of makeup and rediscover old favorites.

1) Benefit “Hello Flawless!” Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation

I remember loving this foundation two summers ago and I don’t know why I have not been wearing it since. This is such a light weight foundation perfect for the hot summer days, because it is not thick and has light to medium coverage. It feels really light on the skin and gives your skin a natural glow. This foundation is perfect for my dry skin gals out there.

2) Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer

The best under-eye concealer in the drugstore. I love the light consistency of the formula, it doesn’t creases, it covers the dark circles really well, and it blends flawlessly. Nothing more I can say about this amazing product.

3) Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder

I’ve been looking for a drugstore powder where I can use to touch up my makeup when I’m out. I really love my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, but, I wanted a powder with more coverage and I repurchased this Maybelline Powder. I forgot how much I love this powder. The powder itself feels so creamy and light, but still gives me the coverage I needed. It also does not make me look cakey and it blends beautifully. Definitely a must have.

4) Maybelline Master Hi-Light Powdered Bronzer

This is like an all-in-one product for me. For days where I do not want to pile on a different bronzer, a different blush and a highlight, I would just swirl all the colors on my brush and apply it on my cheeks. It has a nice natural bronzy glow to it and gives you the right amount of highlight without looking too overdone. I would sometimes used the shimmer shades to highlight my brow bone, cupid’s bow and down the bridge of my nose. Amazing product!

My fragrance pick of this month is the Davidoff Cool Water. I really like this scent. It is perfect for the summer time because it has a citrus and woody notes that is just so fresh and light. To some, it might be very strong but I really like the crisp and fresh scent that it has.

So, I’ve been watching a lot of booktubers on Youtube because I want to start reading again. I love to read and I am always drawn so thriller books, and I want a change of genre. A lot of the booktubers have been recommending this book called RED QUEEN by Victoria Aveyard and this book has a lot of positive reviews. If you have read Hunger Games and you love it, you would like this too. It is a dystopian novel. Let me give you the gist of it:

” Mare Borrow’s world is divided by blood— those with red and those with silver. Mare and her family are lowly Reds, destined to serve the Silver elite whose supernatural abilities make them nearly gods. Mare steals what she can to help her family survive, but when her bestfriend is conscripted into the army she gambles everything to win his freedom. A twist of fate leads her to the royal palace itself, where, in front of the king and all his nobles, she discovered a power of her own ability she didn’t know she had. Except….her blood is Red……”

Doesn’t that just intrigued you to get the book? Haha! Highly, highly recommend this book. I wonder if they will make this into a movie because that would be fun to watch with all the supernatural abilities of the Silvers and such. Hmmm….

I hope you enjoy my monthly favorites. Thanks for reading!XOXO
