September Favorites

Well hello there October, where did you come from? I can’t believe we are in the month of October now. Where and how did September go by so fast? How has fall weather treating you guys? We are experiencing some major rain for the past couple of days and also this weekend due to hurricane Joaquin and the nor’easter storm. Although, it is the perfect weather to snuggle up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and watch Netflix or read my September favorites.

Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid Lotion

So I was in the hunt for a new moisturizer and decided to go old school and get the beauty fluid lotion from Olay. I feel like this does help with my dry skin problems. It does not solve it, but it keeps the dryness at bay and help to keep my skin moisturize all day. Not the best of scents but it’s bearable and works well.

Simple Cleansing Micellar Water

Thank the French for inventing the micellar water. I love this stuff and this helps to remove my makeup easily without feeling sticky afterwards. This stuff is perfect for those lazy nights when I do not want to wash my face, but still keeping my skin clean before I hit the sack.

Loreal Revitalift Moisture Blur

I’ve been loving this product lately. I use this as a primer underneath my makeup. I like that it is a cream or a moisturizer like texture as compared to the original while still keeping your skin smooth for when applying makeup.

Loreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup

An oldie but a goodie. This is my most used foundation in the month of September. I forgot how nice this product feels on the skin and like the name, I love that it is easy to blend into the skin, even with some dry patches on my face. It is lightweight, and has medium to full coverage. I am shade W6 (sun beige).

CoverGirl Colorlicious Lipstick in Sultry Sienna

The perfect everyday shade of lipstick. It is a mauve color with brown undertones in it and I like the creamy satin finish of it too.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Solow

This is my favorite color out of the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip line. It is such a beautiful and very wearable nude pink that matches the most basic or dramatic makeup looks. If you have not seen it, I posted a review and also lip swatches of the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip (here).

Laced Dreams Heels by Lola Shoetique

If you have seen some of my latest fashion post, you would prolly noticed that I’ve been wearing this laced up heels with my outfit. I’ve been looking for shoes like this when I saw someone on Instagram wore them and have been on a hunt ever since. I know that Vince Camuto has one, but they were too pricey and Lola Shoetique has them too, and was always sold out. One day I was on the website and when I saw that they have it in my size, I immediately placed an order. These are so comfortable and are my new go to date night heels. The shoes run true to size and I am usually a size 71/2 or an 8.

I hope you enjoy reading my September favorites. If you read my last post, I said that there won’t be any post up this week due to my back injury and I am on painkillers and muscle relaxer, but heck, that is not going to stop me from putting a post up. I need to do something and I am glad that I did. Stay warm, and thanks for reading!XOXO ❤

    1. I hve dry lips too. But I love matte lipstick. So I usually wld exfoliate my lips with a damp hand towel and apply vaseline on my lips. So whe its time to apply lipstick just dab off the excess lip balm and it works for me. You cld try this method. 🙂
