Can you believe that in two more months we will be in 2016? And this weekend is Halloween, and next month is Thanksgiving and then Christmas and New Year. Man, seems like yesterday that we just welcomed 2015.
Anyway, onto my October favorites, shall we? I don’t have a lot of favorites this time. Mostly things that I’ve been loving for a very long time, and that I just been really into it and enjoy using it again ever since the weather started to get chilly. Let’s get started with the beauty first and then onto other non beauty related items.
I forgot how much I love this stuff. During my first winter, my skin got super dry and any type of moisturizers would sting and hurt the skin on my face. So I tried the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream hoping it would make my skin better and get back to it’s normal state. I was surprised by how quick my skin heals and it does an amazing job keeping it moisturize the whole day.
Sheet masks are my favorite kind of masks to use when I need a quick skin pick me up. Just apply it to your face and leave it on for 10 mins and your skin looks rejuvenated afterwards. So the two masks that I keep going back to are the Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask and the Bird’s Nest Mask. Both are from My Beauty Diary. They are really cheap and it gets the job done. Both masks helps to maintain long lasting moisture in the skin and also helps to brighten, nourish and firm up the skin. I love how supple my skin feels after using this masks.
An all time favorite mascara! This is one of the best drugstore mascara in the market. I love that the formula is really black and I love the effect it gives my lashes; thick an full of volume.
If you have not seen my review on the Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks (here), you should know that these are the best liquid lipsticks in the market. They are so smooth on the lips and it applies like butter. These two colors, Pasadena and Santa Ana are my favorite colors at the moment, just because one is a nice everyday color, and the other one is the most perfect fall shade in my opinion.
My next favorites is this amazing, over sized scarf that I got last season from Forever 21. The material is so soft and it feels really cozy especially when it is super cold out. I linked some similar scarves if you want to check it out.
I’ve been on a reading rut for the past month now. After reading about three books in the previous month, I just had to stop cos I was not into the book that I am currently reading, which I would share with you in my next favorites. So, I gave my current book a break and started reading this book which my good friend let me borrowed just because of the title. Just looking at the cover made me go “So, what’s the secret?”. I am really pleased with the book and I thought it was well written and the plot has an unexpected twist to it which makes it really good. It is definitely worth checking out.
So those are all of my favorites this month. Can’t wait to read up on your monthly favorites! Thanks for reading!XOXO ❤
