Tip Tuesday: How to Minimize Pores… Naturally

Happy Tuesday!

I apologized that this week’s tip Tuesday went up late. I actually wasn’t too sure about what to write this week, until this morning. I was staring at my face this morning, like I always do before I do my morning skincare routine, just to look at any bumps that might be trying to surface from underneath the skin, and I noticed that my pores around my nose area seemed to be quite large. Well, I know this is a common problem for most people, and we usually tend to find a quick-fix solutions to minimize the appearance of pores. There are plenty of products out there that helps with that, but I wanted something something more natural and money friendly. So, I did my research and I find that this is the most easiest way to minimize pores.

As we all know, there are many uses of baking soda. It could be use for baking, it’s use in fridges to neutralize odors, and it can also be use to whiten teeth, and so on. Using baking soda is a natural way to minimize the look of your pores. It help to remove build-up of dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, and clean out your pores.

All you need:

  • 4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Mix the two together until you get a paste like texture.

On clean face, use the mixture and apply it to the face like an exfoliator. Lightly massage the mixture onto the skin and concentrate on areas where needed most; usually on the chin, in the middle of the forehead and the areas around your nose as well. Do this for about a minute. Be careful around the eye area, as it will sting if you get the mixture on them. DSC04277(While I was doing this, I could feel my skin thightend a little bit, so I assumed that’s good!)

Rinse your face off with warm water and cold water afterwards. Make sure to get rid of all the mixture off your face because the baking soda could dry out and irritate the skin.

And there you have it! Clean and smaller looking pores with this easy method. And this also helps to remove blackheads too! ;-). Since this was my first time trying this, I could not really tell the difference with my pores, but the area where my enlarged pores were, felt really smooth. I’m gonna try do this once a week, and report back to you at the end of the month.

As always, thanks for reading and have a great day ahead!XOXO ❤
