If it is wrong to wear white after Labor Day, then I don’t want to be right! Haha! I only knew and heard about this rule 4 years ago, when I moved to the United States. I thought it was weird that you’re not allowed to wear white after Labor Day, just because some snobby millionaire made that rule in the 1800s (yes, I had to do some research). That’s over 100 years ago, and seriously I don’t think anyone cares so much about following rules anymore… fashion rules that is.
Fast forward to present times, I’ve seen a lot of gals styled white pants/jeans during the cooler months. White is such a chic neutral shade that it goes with anything and everything. I personally love wearing white, and love pairing it with other neutral shades like grays, nudes and black to balance it out. And if I’m feeling super risky, I would even go all out and wear an all white outfit.
I’m currently obsessed with this top! It is probably one of my more cozier pieces I own and it’s extremely soft. Even though it look like your regular basic piece, I like that the back has a cowl detail which shows a little skin without being too provocative. I could already tell that this top is going to be on repeat for the entire fall and winter.
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!XOXO ❤
