untitled-1

Can you guys believe that Thanksgiving is next week? Whenever it’s getting so closed to the holidays, I always stressed myself out, because I feel like there are so much things to do before the year ends. Whatever I haven’t accomplish this year, I tried to do as much as I can so I could feel good about myself. Ha! And there’s also the case of the Christmas gift shopping planning! Urgh! Does anyone else feel stressed out about buying gifts for their friends and family too, or is it just me? I keep telling myself every year to start shopping for Xmas gifts early, but that is too impossible and NEVER happens. Yeah, major procrastinator here!

Other than Thanksgiving being my favorite holiday, the last week of November is one of my favorite weeks (next to my birthday week, of course) because I’m celebrating my wedding anniversary! Yay! I feel like I’ve been with the Mister forever, but we’ve only been married for 4 years this 27th. Speaking of which, I still need to look for an anniversary gift for him.  Heeh!

Okay, let’s get on to today’s post!

I don’t know about you, but usually during Thanksgiving, I prefer to dress super comfortable because of the amount of food I would consume that day. That means, oversized sweaters, leggings, or a flowy, loose fitting dress to hide my food baby. Since I would be in a food coma the entire day, comfy clothes are definitely my go to look. But, if you’re visiting friends and family for thanksgiving, I did a lookbook for you to get some ideas for the thanksgiving weekend. Hope you like it!

Swing dresses are great for such occasions because not only are they cute, it’s so comfortable and easy to style. The perfect dress to hide your food baby if you ask me. Style it with your favorite comfy boots and a blanket scarf and you’re ready to go eat some turkey!

LOOK 2 – Black Friday

I usually do my Black Friday shopping online, in my fuzzy cardigan and pajamas with a cup of hot chocolate by my side. But, if you did travel to spend the weekend with family and friends, chances are you are going to go out and do Black Friday shopping. This is probably my shopping outfit if I decided to go to the mall. The faux leather leggings make this look comfortable and your feet won’t get tired from all the walking or standing in line in this shoes.

LOOK 3 – Drinks with Friends

Even though holidays are usually meant to be spend with our loved ones, that doesn’t mean you have to neglect your friends all together. Go out and have a drink (or two) with your girlfriends and have some fun. Since I don’t drink, I would imagine that this would be a great night out with friends look. I am loving the sophisticated element of this look with the navy blazer, and the otk boots makes the outfit fun, and also keep your toes from freezing through out the night.

TOP: H&M sweater

PANTS: Black high waist jeans

BLAZER: Forever 21

BOOTS: Lola Shoetique (similar)

I hope you like the looks I came up with. This is just to give you some ideas or inspirations on what to where for Thanksgiving weekend. I love all of these looks, and I  would probably wear one of the looks next week. =) I will also be doing an easy, affordable holiday inspired makeup look next week (Tuesday) and hope for you guys to check that out too!

Thanks for reading and have a great one!XOXO ❤
