March Favorites

Hello everyone!

I can’t believe we’re already in April. How time past by so fast. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing my March beauty favorites. I know, I am a day late with my post (again), but it seemed like I can’t keep up with what days of the week it is lately (and there’s a good explanation why this is happening to me which I’ll share in my Life Update post).

Anyhoo, I haven’t been doing a lot of makeup shopping for the past couple of months, and haven’t been wearing tons of makeup either. For the entire month of March, I’ve only been reliant on concealer, powder, mascara and lip gloss whenever I want to look semi decent, or else it would be no makeup and messy bun kind of day for me. I also have a body mist that I really love for the spring and summer season. So, here are the things I’ve been religiously using for the entire month of March..

Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer

This is the concealer I’ve been wearing through out this month. I actually don’t like it at first just because I feel that the product dries quick when you apply it. But I’ve been applying it with a damp Beauty Blender with some spritz of Fix + and it blends beautifully. It is a medium coverage, and brightens my under eyes really well, AND covers any red spots I have around my nose.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder

To set my concealer and the rest of my face, I’ve returned to an oldie but a goodie favorite. I’ll pat my damp sponge into the product and gently pressed it into the areas where I have concealer on. And with a large fluffy brush just swirl some product into the brush and pat it all over the face for a flawless finished.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss

These lip glosses are amazing! It’s so pigmented, and the color payoff is amazing in one application. I also like that it has a sugary vanilla scent to it.

Here are the swatches of the colors I’m loving [top to bottom]: Tara, Vintage, Butter Scotch. Vintage is such a beautiful mauve color that’s perfect for a day to day wear, and I can’t stop wearing it.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray

I’ve been a long time fan of Mario Badescu Rose facial spray, and when I saw they came out with another scent I just had to try it. Omg guys, if you ever go to Ulta and test this, you’ll fall in love with the scent. I love the hint of green tea scent when  you spray it and it is as refreshing and hydrating as the rose one. Definitely a new love!

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter

Lately, my skin have been super duper dry and I think it is because of my out of whack hormones. I love using this as soon as I get out of the shower, when my skin is till damp and pores still open so my skin could better absorb the moisture. I must say that the scent is a bit overpowering at first, but I did get used to it after a few uses.

Bath and Body Works Tahiti Island Dream Fragrance Mist

The best beach fragrance ever! Whenever I spray this, I always think of a tropical vacation. It’s so fresh and has a hint of coconut scent to it which I like it. I do not like scents that has too strong of a coconut scent cos it’ll give me headache. Even though it’s a fragrance mist, I like that the scent lingers through out the day and on your clothes which is nice. I do have the lotion too and when paired together, the scent just stays on you longer.

These are all my favorites of the month. Some of these are major repeats here on my blog, but it’s what works for me all these years. Of course, when I am no longer in my “no-buy” phase, I would try out more new products and talk about it here on my blog. Leave me suggestions on what beauty things/reviews you want to see next, and as always thanks for reading everyone!XOXO ❤
