Happy Tuesday, beauties!
We are almost at the halfway point in the month of July, and only now I’m sharing my June favorites! Better late than never right? It feels like forever since I do a monthly favorites. I skipped the month of April and May, that’s because I didn’t really have much favorites, besides I haven’t been buying any new makeup or even wear that much makeup lately. I’m also blaming it on my pregnancy hormones which makes me not want to do so much, and get as much rest as I can. Haha!
Here are my favorites of the month of June:
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation ( Warm Beige)
This foundation has been my go to medium to full coverage foundation during the summer time. I love how flawless and beautiful it goes on to the skin. Even though my skin has been drier than usual, I’ve been prepping my skin with face oil and let it sit for 5 minutes before applying a hydrating primer to prep for the foundation, and I love how my skin looks.
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue (Ginger)
On days when I don’t feel like putting a full face of makeup on, I’d wear this which to me is like a tinted moisturizer all over the face, some concealer and I’m good to go. This product is so hydrating which I love, but I don’t like how it smells. It doesn’t smell bad, but I guess my nose is just sensitive to scents at the moment. Lol!
I revisited the OG of all Naked Palettes this summer. I had this palette stash at the back of my makeup drawer and completely forgot about it. I did some cleaning recently and was reunited with this baby. I forgot how good this palette is! My favorite two shades from this palette is “Naked” and “Buck” for when I wanted some color on my lids. The last two makeup looks I did here on my blog I’ve been using this palette and love how those eye looks turned out.
Maybelline Fit Me Set + Smooth Powder (240 Golden Beige)
This is my go to powder at the moment. I even use this to set my under eye concealer. I need to try the matte + poreless line even though I have dry skin because I heard so many good things about it. I love how light this powder is and does not make my skin look cakey.
This mascara is so awesome! It makes my lashes look so fluttery and thick. I usually have issues with Maybelline mascaras because they tend to bleed and transfer onto my under eye through out the day, but I have no issues at all with this formula.
One of the best stretch mark creams in the market! I’ve been using this cream every single night before I go to bed. It’s super lightweight and non greasy and doesn’t have a heavy scent which I really like. So far during this pregnancy, I have not seen any signs of stretch marks (knock on wood) except for some cellulites on my thighs. Even if I do get stretch marks, it’s better to prevent it then regretting it later.
Other than the stretch mark cream, I really been enjoying using this tonic oil too on top of the cream. I love this luxurious oil and love that it has like a herbal lemongrass scent to it. Although this baby is quite expensive, I don’t use it as often, and only use it when I want to feel fancy. Heeh!
Until the 18th week of my pregnancy, I wasn’t wearing any maternity clothing. As soon as I got back from my trip to Singapore, I started showing and needed some comfy pants/jeans to get me through this pregnancy. One maternity must have every expectant mom should have in their closet is maternity leggings. You can get expensive ones, affordable ones or anywhere in between, and many brands cater to all different price points. Some of my favorites are by Gap and Old Navy, and I wear the heck out of my leggings because it’s so comfortable. I personally prefer the low rise ones since it’s summer, but those over the belly ones are great too.
So those are my June favorites! Hopefully I have some favorites too this month as I am planning to try out new makeup products and skin care items. I do have one skin care item that would probably make it to the list end of the month.
Thank you all for reading, and see you in my next post!XOXO ❤
